I just want to publicly apologize to the GBAtemp community for not being the honest, better member that I should be. A few days ago I posted a thread about how I was selling an acekard for $150 to some unknowing woman that wanted to purchase it for her daughter. I advertised the flash cart on craigslist as having 60-70 games and useful homebrew apps. On the thread I posted, I received several replies telling me that I was a hypocrite, despicable, and wrong. I struggled with myself on this for the past few days, and now I see the wrong I've been doing, downloading pirated games and selling them, making a profit when the developers didn't get theirs.
I also want to apologize to that person I messaged, in hope of making a new friend. I read the posts, seems like everybody here knows each other, I want to part of that too.. And an apology to thieveslikeus, for being so indecisive about what shell to make my DS lite too.
Well, I never really introduced myself here, I was lurking for some time until I finally joined last January, but my name's Justin. I have a Zelda DS lite, a white DS Phat, a Wii, and an acekard. I'm also one of the lucky ones who were able to purchase a Cyclo DS from DX for $35 and receive it. I'm on a few other boards too, like niketalk, toyotanation, mostly car forums and electronics forums. Let's just say I have a very broad interest, I like cars, Nintendo, anime, Japanese culture, sneakers, photography, music, engines, and so on. All I have to say is, I love this community, I love how we tempers always think outside of the box, I was very surprised when they were able to hack and translate M3 Sakura to English, and how it is now possible to play Guitar Hero without the guitar grip.
I just hope this community accepts my apology, and accepts me for who I am, I feel really bad about what I've been doing. I'm only human, I'm far from perfect, but I can say, I'm glad I'm on GBAtemp.
