MineCraft

Soo I've been about about this "MineCraft" and how epicly awesome it supposedly is.
Recently one of my friends bought the game and has been enjoying it thoroughly enough so he won't stfu about it until I buy it :yay: :glare:
So I went to good old youtube and look at some videos of MineCraft, it looked okay, nothing special just okay.

And then I saw his video at which I sprayed my drink out all over the cat (sorry >,,<):-

Trouble being I don't get paid till monday :cry: and then because paypal is gay I haveto put money into paypal before I buy anything so that's an even longer wait :cry:
*sigh* I may ask my friend if he will buy it for me and I'll give him the cash at his party next saturday.

Anyway, MineCraft looks AWESOME and I'm now wondering if anyone plans on doing a high res textures pack for it so it can be even more awesomes :3

Life blurbings:

Uhh applied for a job at GAME and Iceland last week, GAME said FU and Iceland have yet to reply (I had my interview with Iceland LAST thursday).
Love life.....COMPLICATED feels like it's literally killing me but hey ho here we go I'll live.
That's about it...really going into town again tomorrow apply for another job at another GAME store and one at the British Home Stores???? :ph34r: which I have no idea where that is but the job center is making me apply :glare:

Anywho I shall leave you now with a little tutorial on what you should do the first time you play MineCraft :)

There are already a bunch of HD texture packs available. They look crappy with the whole blocky style of Minecraft, but are HD nonetheless.

On another note my friend went offline so I can't ask him if I can borrow the £9ish ($14ish) till next week :cry: guess I shall continue to watch more videos of it till then >,,<

You can always play the free version. The first video you linked to (The one with the Starship Enterprise) is actually of the free version (Classic mode).

Original textures > custom ones.
I just can't get used to any texture pack, though the Mega Man legends one was pretty awesome...

Anyways, yeah, minecraft is awesome. I really hope they fix HP for the Halloween update. There are some knobs on my favorite server I REALLY want to kill repeatedly till they quit.

Ironically the only downloadable classic client, i'm PRETTY sure, only lets you play online.

Just go to the site and make an account and look around to see what you can do. It doesn't even take a minute to make an account.

Yeah I have just been playing the classic version in my browser :3 I so really want the full version. O.O For some deluded reason I decided to make a hole that took me to the very bottom of the MineCraft classic map and then realised it was going to be a pain in the ass to climb back up :cry:

To pay, you could buy a prepaid MasterCard and link it to your PayPal and then pay with the credit card. That's how I did it, and you can find prepaid MasterCards almost everywhere.

Now you just need to find a good server.
Playing solo is fun for a few hours (good for learning the basics), but multiplayer is just so much better. Despite several flaws that plague it compared to single player.
