Minecraft. WHYYYY must you hook me?

Yeah, the new update was surprisingly great. Honestly, I like it more than the beta update with lapis and whatnot. Beds are DEFINITELY my favorite addition, since you can usually make one by the end of the first day, and not have to wait 7 minutes with nothing to do at night. Also, having infinite worlds is great too. No more deleting nice worlds just to make new ones.

The speed improvement sounds awesome, i'll need to check it out on my laptop

Today's update was quite nice.
Though beds are a little useless in SMP, but there's not much Notch can do about that.

Glad to see Notch finally releasing things without crap getting broken as well. Granted, he has a team behind him now so that's probably why.

a very nice update over all. The new launcher is nice as well. Redstone repeaters are great. extremely useful for SMP as well as normal play. i would like bettergrass as well eventually, or at least as an option. in fact, just more graphical options in general would be nice. The things people are doing with shaders and AA and such are mind blowing.

I take it none of you are using OS 10.5.8.

Selecting Single Player freezes and crashes the game, deleting all your saves solves this.

But wait! Clicking "Create New World" freezes and crashes the game.

I was so happy about this update....I built a small pixel art of Quote .....(I suppose it is both pixel art and pixel's art lol)...

It was quite annoying with mobs on.....but i finished it legit yay! .....oh and the lighting is so pretty

the update is great.
i started a new game and made an awesome beach house and it is also great that sandstone is making a bigger appearance
with natural sandstone and sandstone slabs

I wish I have Minecraft
it sounds so fun to play

Amen to that! My friend's server got massive over time, and it took forever for us to do anything due to files getting fragmented so easily. This should fix that.

NO. You can go die in a fire. Notch and the rest of Mojang worked hard on this game, and this is a game that actually deserves money. Don't pirate indie games.
