I stumbled on to this last week, and needless to say almost had a heart attack...

Does anyone else remember this game?! It was, and unfortunately still is, the last great 'mech game ever released... I hope the new mechwarrior that was just announced can live up to it's ancestors.

It was the last epic western mech game to be released. The only games of this genre that can even rise to it's level are eastern games such as Armored Core and Chromehounds.

Yes. Yes it was.

Apparently, however, M$ is trying to stop it. All the companies that took part in MechWarrior except Microsoft have given permission for MekTek.net to release it :angry:
