ME3 my new fav game

I just completed Mass Effect 3, properly this time. I beat it yesterday, but instead of choosing, I was just dicking around and shot the catalyst. So I went through it again today, and decided to destroy the reapers. I have to say, the story in Mass Effect is probably my all time favorite story. ME3 just simply blew everything out of the water for me that ME2 had.

I loved the ending I had, where it showed Shepard taking a deep breath at the end of the game. That really pulled a heart string on me. Such an amazing game, definitely worth my money.

I honestly don't see why people weren't happy with the ending. I mean, in the game, Shepard did sorta imply that he was willing to die to win, so that should have been an obvious that he was going to. But whatever, I love this game. Now I can't decide if it's better than Batman Arkham City or not.

I dont understand why people hate it. The only reason why I can understand is because of the kid at the end who said that Organics and Synthetics can't live together. But yet the Geth and Quarians were able to.

That's my only gripe with the ending. But then again, there's probably more reasons, and I was watching a video about why people hate it pre-EC, but all of the reasons made sense to me in my game. Like none of the reasons the person posted bugged me. But then again I never played any of the DLC, so I don't know what the lore or anything is like.

The Geth and Quarians really couldn't live together though. After a time they eventually went to war. If anything the Geth-Quarian conflict showed how unstable the relationship between synthetics and organics is.

The big complaint everyone had with the ending is the lack of choice which I really think is for the better. Your character still develops based on your decisions so they're not exactly pointless. I also think that the point of the ending was that almost all your decisions up to this point were rather futile and couldn't stop a sad ending from being sad. The Reapers are a powerful force and you put all your eggs into one weapon with unknown powers. Decision was never a factor.

The other thing is "It's not happy enough" which is generally retarded since an ending where Shepard picks the "turn Reapers into ice cream" option would be terribly anticlimatic. Having the player stress over which lesser evil to chose is good.

It's glad to know someone else here likes this game.

The ending's pretty much the only reason people didn't like the game (hate is a little extreme, I don't think people are that against it), I only heard praise for the game itself. Granted, I'm not in love with the games, it was a fun trilogy and I played each one (once, oddly enough I'm not all that enticed to go back thanks to three). Two would probably be my favorite, it did well to fix the clunkiness of one and present greater, more important decisions than just the few that the first one had.

YOU JUST LIKE GRUFF STUFF BECAUSE YOU'RE XENOPHOBIC.

I just figured I'd save Hells Malice's typical bullshit argument by doing the paint-by-numbers for it.

In his defense, ME3 was extremely disappointing to me(But I'm not going to go into my long list of reasons why.) and I hate anime.

I win. And because I win, you must now do a paint-by-numbers for me of Garrus's face.
