Less than two weeks to due date. Hopefully he comes sooner, I need a damn break from work! I know, I know having a baby is work, but the redundancy of daily life is taking its toll.
To make matters worse, I have a baby due in two weeks and we had to buy a new car and take an extra ~$300 month expense. Oh well, its just money. We will be alright. We gross about $720 a week before taxes. Rent is only $625, electric is about $110 a month. I think we will make it, it will be a little tight (less PC and video game purchases :angry2: ) but I calculate around $200 a week, so $400 biweekly as that's our pay schedule, after bills and everything is paid, will be more once credit cards are paid off next tax season.
New car is 2009 Toyota Corolla, 12k/12 month FULL warranty except tires, brakes and glass. about 36k miles OR until May 2015 on the power train. Paid $12,999 = $250/month for 6 years. Toyota is a pretty good manufacturer and they are pretty safe cars too. Gets good gas mileage, so that will be a nice break, averages around 33 mpg. Car came with about 64k miles.
Gonna have to stop smoking, this time its not by choice. Too little money and kinda want to be alive for my kid to grow up too. Its gonna suck. I lost my prior battle after 4 days. But you should try dealing with a pregnant woman and having drug withdrawals, its not simple. I got 1 cigarette left and that will hopefully be it. I think I am going to start taking a walk at night when I get home, for the exercise and just for something to do that is not inside the house.
I also have an awesome idea for when my son learns new things. If its as cool as I think, the video will be loved here on gbatemp. I'm not gonna give it away as I don't want anyone to steal the idea. Stay tuned in the next couple months to see if it comes to fruition.
Well that's all for now. Hope you had a good time reading.
