Ehhh...so. I'll be graduating. From college. Next week.
It hasn't really hit me until now, 'cause I've got projects due and I'm mad procrastinating.
I haven't had internet for about a week, but now I'm back and now I'm poking here at the Temp rather than working...haha.
Totally bad, though I guess I'm not worried since graduating is concrete. They can't take it away from me now!
I am a spaz and Freshman year I was a bad bad mofo...just generally sucky at being alive. I failed a bunch of classes
(I barely showed up to class that year, ew.)
that I ultimately had to RE-take and so I'm on my fifth year of school.
I'm ready to get the F out of here, you hear me?
My boyfriend who's been living out in San Fran is coming back out to Chicago for my graduation.
He moved out there a few months ago to take up a job doing graphic and UI design for a Facebook game company
and I'm so ready to see him again!
Anyway. As long as I'm here, I shall lay out what I've got to do before this is all over.
Wednesday - Finish inking an 18 x 24 comic page....gotta add about 8 more panels as well. Finish two ad campaigns.
Thursday - Scan and clean up the comic, print out and mount the ad campaigns. Ads due for critique in the afternoon...
Friday - Work on my portfolio...sort out my website, promo piece, business card, print out samples...Work on an illustration project and a 30 second mock movie intro.
Monday - Portfolio review day. Present it to class and basically have a heart attack dealing with critiques. Keep working on illustration project and animation project. Graduation portraits are being taken as well...
Tuesday - Illustration and animation project due. Critique day.
Wednesday - Color comic, make test prints and final version.
Thursday - Comic is due 6 pm, critique session on comic...ALSO. Boyfriend comes to town this day!!
Friday - Anxiety attack. Hang out with the boyfriend.
Saturday - GRADUATION. BARFFFFFFF.
Ughhh...it sounds like a lot and maybe unorganized, I'm sorry. I guess it's just for my own notes anyway, but man.
Makes me feel like I should...uh...get started on some of this stuff.
