Left 4 Dead

What didn't you like about it? I just came into a little bt of dosh so I've bought Modern Warfare 2, Dead Space and was gonna pick up L4D on Wed.

I'd say it gets boring pretty fast, but the SDK was just released, so me and my 3 friends have been trying new maps mostly.

Normally, it would take a week or two to realize you wasted your money. Too bad you couldn't enjoy it for more than a day.

Will copy what I posted somewhere else, im sure other people will disagree, this is just my opinion, but yeah :
So...I just bought this game, sure, I like a good shooter, and I like zombies (spent many MANY hours on Killing Floor). I played a few missions just new with 2 friends, who were getting really into it, whereas for me...the lighting (or lack), was making me strain my eyes, and turning the brightness up just looked stupid.
Whole horde's of zombies, which just seem to disappear with no real regard to where bullets hit, as long as bullets are coming out of my gun, theyre dropping wether the bullets are hitting or not (and no, it wasnt anybody else shooting them).

Just my opinion, but I dunno, nothing seemed to 'click', like it does, for example, when im playing killing floor.

EDIT: Regarding this big bad tank everyone seems to be crapping their pants about...wtf...i've never played the damn game before, playing with 2 friends and a dumbass AI, on Expert, and all that happened when the tank came was everyone shot it ages, it took one person down, oh look, tanks dead, better go help that guy up. Erm, what.

L4D is awesome but L4D2 is going to blow.

I thought it was pretty good, for the first week. After that it got old quick.

Eh, I'll give it another go tomorrow if I have a chance, when im not as tired, and will hafta try a different level, different guns etc.
Just on first playthrough, its looking pretty grim.
Was quite amusing having my friends shouting at me over mic, cause i saw 'some cars have alarms' come up on my screen, adn this being my frist playthrough, I ran up to the nearest car and melee'd it...all hell was let loose :L

LMAO yeah that is a big no-no. Especially on Expert. Do that and it's game over.

I actually find the game fun ONLY with friends. Alone it feels quite boring.

L4D is not for everyone.I findf it to be a great social game, Ive bet alot of friends with this game, and friends are what makes this game shine.

Versus.

It's the only part of the game worth playing, honestly. It's fun to get 3 of your buddies, vent or similar, and go beat up a team of pubbers.
