Just splurged on my first ever NVMe drive...

I wanted a good balance between price, size, brand, and speeds. I found everything I wanted with the Samsung 970 EVO m.2 drive. I won't be using it for my boot drive, I already have a boot SSD. This will be for loading up games. Hope it delivers the speeds I need and expect.

Big open world games like Fallout 4, GTA and Monster Hunter load up in seconds with it. Much smaller games might be a second or so faster. (I never really timed it) Anyways you are not going to be disappointed.

Honestly, you'll barely notice a difference when it comes to comes between a SATA and NVME SSD. Much better to use the faster drive for the OS.

I'll have to do some gaming benchmarks first, and if I'm not impressed, I'll use it for my OS AND games.
