Jealousy problems with young friends

Ok. So last June 2009, it was Yshi's 7th bday. I gave her a laptop for a 3-7 years old, a Genuine Barbie and a coloring set 3 months later as I cant possibly make that much money. I asked her what bday gift to give and she asked for a Barbie.

Then we have Esperanza's 7th bday on September. I asked her what gift I should give and she replied Barbie but then changed her mind as her dad will give her a Barbie. She asked my for a DS. I lent her my DS Lite and finally gave her my Pink Nintendo DSi last December 2009. It took me almost 3 months to save up some money to give away expensive gifts.

I got my DS Lite back and I dont have my Nintendo DSi as I gave it away. I only have 2 currently - one for my sis and one for Esperanza

Then we have Gwen's 8th bday last November and I havent thought of a gift but I gave her my RAGNAROK ONLINE Poring doll.

Then we have Nadine's 7th bday last December and I asked her what her bday gift will be and she replied in a text message that she wants a cellphone. Im now currently saving up for a phone.

The problem is now that they're jealous of Esperanza because I give important to her. It's just her bday present. I did asked them what they want and now they hate me.

I told them to wait for me to leave the country and be in Canada as I can easily save money in Canada and support and give them what they like. But they didnt listen and demanded to give them useless expensive stuffs RIGHT NOW to match Esperanza's (ie. The 2-wheel skateboard, scooter, and other stuffs).

What am I supposed to do now?

PS: My family applied as immigration for Canada and we are 2 steps away in going to Canada - To pass the medical exam and to wait for the visa. With some luck, We'll be in Canada this coming May, June or July 2010. I pray to God.

Thats a big age gap unless you like help with the lower age classes?
I actually thought they were your sister's friends that you just happened to befriend lol.

what the heck? free food every day... now let me put it this way to you, those arent your friends, they are just moochers, you might not agreed with what i said.

But still, god darn are those gifts expensive,if it's me, i just give them 10 bucks and ask them to buy what they want. It's better than buying a gift for them and another kid complaining about how much her sucks and ask you to get a better gift and letting it turn into a never ending cycle.

Im an illustrator and I illustrate people who happened to be in my life. So there's nothing intriguing here.

Last year, I treated some high school students there but it's time to move one. My friends graduated and so I miss them.

I know the parents of these young people and we are all compadre. lol. so there's nothing intriguing here.

Anyway, I love to draw since I was a child and since I enrolled in that school, I want to remember everyone that became part of my life

PS: I will be more strict this time from now on. Thanks for the advices

Wait so your giving lavish gifts so you might have a chance with a mom?

problem is starting to fade away as they're forgetting about the jealousy problem. seems fine awhile ago and Ishi is back to normal. Same goes to Nadine.

One thing I noticed that all christian kids will forget what was done before and move on

Good thing there >10! >10 year olds tend to forget something like envy in about a couple of days a week at max

I dunno if you already got your problem solved, but how about giving them less expensive gifts?
Like... a video game or something. Or just give them money. They might learn how to save money.

Nadine's cellphone will be the last one I'll be giving The next one will be like something rollerskates when I go to Canada.

They should be happy that they get at least something. Seriously, people who whine and complain about gifts shouldn't get any at all. If I was in your shoes I'll just give them an empty wrapped up ps3/wii/xbox360 box and laugh at them when they open it to find that nothing's there.
