Glad to see I'm not alone in this case

This isn't a important messages. I will make this as a blog.

Yea. It's really annoying.

I searched up Portendo in Google and this what I got:

It's just salty forum users. I don't know why they're salty, just that they have some petty vendetta.

It's funny, because Portendo is the porting master.

when nintendo is getting ports of years old games and charging full retail, some people might be annoyed. Is the joke overplayed? yeah. Is it the worst thing in the world to snark at? no.

I didn't realize Nintendo was the only company whose consoles gets ports. Oh wait. People need to stop this.

TBH, we all should be happy we are getting ports. At least we are finally getting some decent 3rd party attention, and that's probably in the whole Nintendo history. Even if it's a port, let's just comemorate.

Nintendo is a big company. They don't need little old you coming to their defence.

Are they the same class of ports though? Most people when referring to this sort of thing look at all the games which have run their course and then get ported, often sloppily or at least weaker than the present state of their source material, in lieu of decent original stuff, ports of still relevant games and often games that have since been surpassed, or surpassed for the money. This then leads to a game library which technically has a lot in it but for most practical purposes is not going to house anything new, exciting or not played out... at least shovelware and film tie ins get the odd diamond in the rough or unexpected classic.

Portendo, more like nintendo't want to miss out on all the old games that didn't get put on wii u.

I think Portendo isn't jabbing at the fact that Switch is getting third party support - it's that the majority of Nintendo's first party Switch games are Wii U ports or remasters. That's not really untrue in that case, since with a few exceptions like Odyssey and Splatoon 2 Nintendo has put everything into trying to port every Wii U game to Switch they possibly can. Cool for the people who missed these games, but it's unimpressive and laughable for people who owned a Wii U to see these re-releases sold as new, full price games.
