I’m kinda disappointed with this years e3

Like I’m glad smash god revealed, I really am but that was really the only game that was truly revealed. All of the rest were stuff were announced and they just used that to filler the rest of the time. It was literally repeated announcements like I was expecting a release date for Luigi’s but mansion, Mario odyssey dlc, maybe a new Zelda game remaster or some shit like that. It’s a huge time gap for just one single game.

I was looking forward to Yoshi and Metroid Prime 4 info + info on the online services.
Instead I got Zero Chest Samus and Other M Samus, and changes to SSB gameplay that in my opinion negatively impact it.

I'm not all that hyped for Smash. I was hoping for Animal Crossing but it didn't happen.

They could still announce stuff though. Maybe it'll get better.

Someone mentioned there's a Direct on the 14th IIRC. I'd expect Prime 4 and Yoshi footage at the least, probably some indies (Wargroove comes to mind), maybe Bayonetta 3/No More Heroes footage and possibly some new announcements. Just speculation, ofc, I was hoping all that would be at e3 too. :D

Unpopular opinion maybe, but Pokemon's looking better than I originally thought.

It's definitely a more casual game and I'm not a fan of Pokemon Go, but Pokemon Yellow's my OG Pokemon game & I'm always down for some couch co-op.

You mean Nintendo's. For a PC owner, we got a shit ton of multiplat stuff announced. :D Hyped as fuck for Yakuza finally coming to PC! Oh, and RE2!

Personally I'm still dissapointed with everyone. Yakuza is kinda getting oversaturated and Resident Evil 2 has been done a lot.

And even the new games didn't look all that good.

yeah, e3 isn't what it once was because there's so many other channels to receive information about new releases and studios have little reason to hold back a lot just to wait for this niche event

oh come on, she was a good mix of the soulless master chief all the idiots believed her to be (despite her sappy saving of a baby murder alien as early as in her second game) and the slightly too emotional other m version.
having her tense up for a second before facing the thing that, canonically, always created a battle to the death for her, seems reasonable. not to mention she faced him headon even without the suit. come on, grant her a shred of humanity

You're gonna have to explain that one, because as far as I'm aware it has never been remastered before, and has been completely silent since pretty much the annoncement, this is about the first we've been shown of the game?

But yeah E3 was shit, as normal; defined yet again by the absence of everything people wanted: Shenmue, FFVII Re, Pokemon, Metroid, anything at all from Microsoft, actual Death Stranding gameplay ffs, release dates this year not 8 years time.

E3 is a corporate shareholder pacifier, designed to stroke the genitals of over-payed business execs. The actual fan side of the event is happening right now; students showing off their work, indies getting some space, hands on demo's etc.

But nobody gives a shit about that because they don't get paid past the advertising and marketing days.

Actually I thought the Gamecube version was a remake but it looks it was just a port apparently. Memory playing tricks on me.

Ah right, yeah GameCube got a remake of Resi 1 but the Resi 2 release was just a port. I think we got a release of Resi 2 on psn as well but apart from that Resi 2 is pretty much untouched for what, nearly 20 years!

Absolutely cannot wait for this game, it was an amazing game back then, my expectations are sky high ;).

E3 for nintendo maybe but the other 3 killed it IMO & i'm extremely happy with what was shown this year for sure.

Like dude wtf was Nintendo thinking? All the other stuff was already announced honestly they shouldn’t have even come to e3 if they were only gonna present one fucking major game

To be honest for nintendo i was a LITTLE dissapointed mainly because i was hoping to see some Bayonetta 3 & Metroid prime 4. All i saw mainly was smash stuff which i don't care much for, although i did see there's a new fire emblem so i'm okay nintendo wise.

Not everyone cares about Smash, beside smash they had nothing good to show, too bad. Not even a footage about new Metroid...disappointing indeed.

Last good E3 was 2010. From there on out there will probably never be a good E3 again.
