I'm failing at Brawl

Fucking Mrs keeps beating me! WTF?

I dunno what is going on, I am great Melee but Brawl I fail.

You should specialize yourself with a few characters instead of using all of them ^_^

errr do you wanna vs me i could help you out and see if you are doing something wrong. Also try checking out the Gamefaqs guides for specific characters and look for tips on smashboards.

Don't feel so bad that you're getting your ass handed to you by a female ;)

It's actually good though, it does help build a stronger relationship with you, knowing that she is good at playing a game and win at it. Sometimes I need to tone down my playing of any game with the wife so she feels like she is good at the game. It keeps her motivated :)

Seriously on Melee I kick her arse and with any other game ever, just this one.

Its embarrasing.

All she wants to do after a good seeing to is sleep it off.

Gamecube controllers must be the way to go, I play the game with them all the time but she hates them so I find it unfair.

Seriously I should be able to beat her whatever the controller. Its unfunny now, she sucks at playing games and yet on this one game she beats me. I know I should just accept it but I've been gaming for years, I'm 27 and I remember playing since a very early age. Damn my geek side.

Anyway, try playing as the character you play most, or try Snake, Wolf or Metaknight.

She uses all, the only time she plays, is with me! I know which characters to use against other ones, I'm a good all rounder, I can beat anyone else I play...just not her.

The original N64 game & Melee I usually thrash her, the only time I don't is when I let her lose because she gets bitchy if I keep winning.

Its just something I gotta accept, she sucks at everything else (lightgun games she is pretty good at) so she can have this one game.
