In all seriousness, there's actually not as many as it may appear. It just appears to be more because furries tend to post, a lot. We also tend to generate a lot of Likes. Thus giving the appearance of a larger community than there really is.
Looking at the top 5 posters and top 5 members in the Likes, you notice a trend
In posts, 3 out of 5 of them are furries and the number one is a furry
Going to Likes you notice 2 out of 5 are furries. Number one in Likes is once again another furry member.
Now putting in some interesting factors, the only other members competing with them are Staff/Former staff (with the exception of Rydian being a former Meg Staff and myself being the Admin of Filetrip.) Really looking at these numbers, it gives the illusion that furries represent a larger portion of the forums. When in reality, we just post a lot and get a lot likes,
Furry, not furry who cares, people can like what they like. Yes there are some nutters out there, but from what I can gather those are the vocal exception rather than the quiet norm. Kinda like the way Tumblr and 4chan have super-extremist images, when in reality that is but a small part of their communities.
Having said that here's a very important question: Does liking Shy Gals (Shy Guy rule 63) make me a furry?
Speaking of meatballs, what's the deal with meatball sandwich? How can people eat those? It's ROUND. Trying to bite those in a sandwich is a challenge. It's easier to eat a burger stacked with toppings.
