Ideas for a video game based stamp?

So, yeah. I'm starting a new hobby - hand carving rubber stamps. I just wanted some ideas for a simple/elegant start to it. One of the sites that I took a look at had a stamp of the "screwball" Metroid symbol. So, I was wondering what you guys think for it? (It should be simple - and look distinct!)

Links are appreciated - I've been browsing Spriter's Resource for ages for inspiration.

Pokeballs look simple enough. Another one could be the Triforce logo.

Take a look at the Character symbols from SSBB/SSBM, that may give you more ideas. ;)

Edit: I've decided on the Super Mario Mushroom. Simple, and elegant. I'd probably get some practice doing the triforce as well.

Here's how. Just use a rubber medium, some tools (some ppl use X-acto knives, but I find them to have no control over the curves). This one is a relief style one, but it's the same idea - trace/make an outline, and cut away with the tools.

*Edit: There's a sport called letterboxing that people indulge in. It's sort of like geocacheing - someone hides a box containing a stamp and a logbook, creates clues to it, and people visit it to stamp there stuff into it. It's sort of like an art exchange, but with the perks of being able to show off your art and the area you want to letterbox.

Yeah, I have the Mario 1UP/power up mushroom on my eraser right now.

I'd do a goomba when I get the chance.

Fun fact: When I was in the 7th or 8th grade, we had to carve rubber stamps like these around Christmas time in school. I did a Christmas tree being decorated by a Sudowoodo and Swinub in Santa hats.

See, I was cool even way back then! This is actually a very fun thing to do, I remembered enjoying it greatly. And those big blocky Earthbound sprites are just begging to be carved :yay:

All great ideas - I'm finished with the Mario mushroom one now (it looks very Japanese/weeabo), and a couple of ones for letterboxes that I'm placing in and around my university.

I'd show them to you guys soon - as soon as I find my cable/batteries to my camera!

Next On My List:
- the GBAtemp logo :D

Edit: I'm going to be Weeabo, and carve myself the substitute death god badge from the earlier episodes of Bleach. Harder to do, but ooooo...rewarding. (Just found a reference picture for it - I made a prop for a friend before, and now just found it.)

Done my signature stamp for letterboxing (it's the weeabo one, a mario mushroom that has a heart). I have so many stamps to show off, but no cable for the camera! (Apparently, it's still in my dorm room - waiting for me.)

Stamps Done:
- Pac-Man with three dots (free-handed circles - what does that say about me?)
- Mario mushroom (must find green ink)
- 2 tetris blocks (one of them is going to be a letterbox placement one)
- OPERATIONBEAUTIFUL.COM
- Handmade stamp (picture of a hand, and the word made under it - first attempt at text)
- dog bone with heart underneath
- turtle (1st one, but sucky)
