I Won

Disclaimer: Not trying to offend anybody, this was just kind of fantastic. If you get offended by insults alluding to the homosexuality of another in a trolling manner, I invite you to leave now. I promise though, it isn't bad at all as long as you remember not to take it seriously. If you do take it seriously, please don't post saying so. As I said, I am not trying to offend in anyway.

I was actually blocked on Facebook for the first time that I'm aware of tonight.

The conversation started on my friend's status, and I mentioned a dislike for Canadians (don't really care much to be fair, but this was excellent). The Canadian that had been commenting started raging so hard. He just kept calling me gay over, and over, and over again. First, I struck back with a more clean comment of a similar variety. His comments were basically all the same (in an increasingly vulgar manner), so I'll just make brief mentions of them due to not being able to copy and paste them...since...you know, I can't see them.

Talon is clearly butthurt due to all of the penis in his butt.

He had crudely called me gay in a derogatory manner multiple times in one post, so my reply was fairly mild in comparison. The next one was twice as crude and of the same content, and he was clearly raging so hard. My reply was more witty than before:

Yo bro, I know you enjoy talking about your love of penis. You apparently love it to such a degree, it must saturate your attempted insults. I invite you to come out of the closet anytime, regardless of the fun that Narnia grants you, and accept who you are.

Clearly not being able to handle my wit, another lame comment followed. I replied promptly.

Hey bro, slow down. Apparently Narnia is all that and a bag of chips. I'll let you come out in your own time. It's okay bro, I know you can make it. You will make another man very happy someday.

At this point, he is really raging. He must have called me a "[censored]" at least 7 or 8 times in an attempt to insult me, when really, it doesn't matter, as I'm not gay and don't take offense to such comments. I don't support such comments of course. He was also not a fan of being called "bro" apparently. That was one of the three comments he posted of rage that were the last ones I saw. I carried on my trolling.

Hey bro, why you gotta be this way? You are clearly projecting on me. Your inability to move past all of these homophobic comments is nothing but an invisible cover for your own homosexual tendencies. It's okay bro, I'm sure there is somebody there for you.

Shortly afterword, I noticed that the response time was abnormally slow. Upon viewing the comments again, I could see none of his. He also was no longer a visible person on Facebook. He had actually blocked me. I lol'd so hard. The internet is an astoundingly fun place.

End Disclaimer: Seriously, don't take it seriously. If you can't see I was just trolling the stupid guy, I'm sorry.

It surprised me. Usually nobody is stupid enough to try to flamebait me on there, as none of them really even get the concept of it. The few that do, I'm actually friends with. This guy was just dumb.

If you had seen what he was saying, my comments were pure gold. Trust me.

Well done you out witted (arguable) some guy on the internet and got him to block you on Facebook! :)

You win the internets :)

I would recreate one of his general comments, but half of it would just be GBAtemp naturally censoring it.

What makes it funny is you're just as pathetic as him for claiming "I Won" on a Facebook dispute. Also,

"and I mentioned a dislike for Canadians "

What a typical brainless American comment.

Hey, he's entitled to opinions too. At least he made no personal attacks on your countryman's average intelligence.

@Nathan: If anything, Canadians have produced one of the best improv comedians America has ever seen. Also, Justine Beiber, which they haven't apologized enough.

Did you happen to see the part in parentheses where I mention I don't really care? That part was sort of vital in staving off comments such as the above. It's just odd to see it actually get a rise out of somebody. Most Canadians when I talk to them, just brush it off, insult Americans in some way, and we carry on. And technically, I did win, prosper, whatever you want to call it. He blocked me out of rage.

What else do you want me to call it? It seemed like mentioning FB in the title would have sent others away, while stating "I Won" creates a sense of curiosity when first seeing the title. It is why you visited this blog; no? Then I was successful in my efforts.

Well if he didn't blog it, then no, you actually lost. Besides, it was on facebook. Again, arguing on facebook, nobody wins.

Canada screws up just as bad as America, maybe not as many times though.

Besides, we've given the world Rush, Canadian Bacon, Hockey, Canadian Beer (which is far more superior than the American beer), Lacrosse, Jim Carey, James Cameron, Mike Meyers, Michael J. Fox, City and Color, Metric, Terry Fox, and perhaps the best thing... Free Health Care.

So we've more than covered our asses for one mistake. Just sayin'.

I don't even know the dude in real life. He's just some Xbox Live douche really. I don't quite understand why you're being so crude about all of this. Also, don't turn this into USA vs Canada. You can take that shit and GTFO right now.

lol, I won.

No. Don't worry. You just made me nearly start blaming Canada for all the problems of the world, regardless of how few or none of them that they are actually responsible for. :P

You may have won this round, but I'll just win on the internet next time. Hell, even if I'm special olympics quality (I love that little analogy), I will basque under the weight of my gold medal.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm, or something that has to do with saving face... Anonymous internet face.

I assume you're referring to the bottom sentence, in which case, here is an explanation. Five or so years ago, when Myspace was still used and I was a pre-teen that thought it was cool to use, I heard an analogy; "Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded." Just makes me a lol a little at this point. Stare at the title, and you see the irony.

I actually am pretty damn happy tonight.
