I waste money

kidding.

its time to start gym.

i finally hit my target weight (90kg). i've been purposely putting on weight over the past year or so since i finished school. i used to play union in school so that kept me in fair shape, i've done virtually no sports ever since i finished. i used to weigh 68kg. and now its time to start some serious gym. i'm following a core strength routine. loads of squats. before i finished school i used be able to bench 60, squat 80. it's dropped to around 40b/40s at this stage. i haven't done any intensive workouts for a fair while. i'm aiming to hit 100kg bench, 120kg squat within 12 months.

time to hit up all those cans of tuna, oats for breakfast and bottles of milk.

other news.

i've been playing mh tri online. pretty sweet stuff. watching your team mates dive in before you is pretty cool. took the royal ludroth to school and back 5 times. quropecco twice and the great jaggi twice. not bad for a single session. i just need some more sponges to get the full set.i've got chest, vambraces, leggings, just need the waist and head. currently hr5. want to get switchaxe, need to upgrade my lance (damn you gluebugs :<).

I thought you were supposed to hit the gym while putting on weight, and then hit the tuna and oats once you've reached your goal weight

So you've been putting on weight with no exercise, and now you want to build up muscle while on a diet? I'd say that's not the optimal route, but I see you've planned it in advance so I guess that's what works best for you.

Good luck, and great success :yay:

Now hit that iron, son.

I've got a friend who'se a personaly trainer who says, it doesn't matter what order you do it in. a majority of people hit the protein shakes and start eating a lot more while they gym so they don't literally bulk out. i don't mind the bit of gut i've got now, but would like to see it go. cans of tuna and whatnot are for maximising workouts. i know a few body builders who's diet is absolute rubbish but fix that up with intense workouts and loads of supplements.

Speaking of meatballs, what's the deal with meatball sandwich? How can people eat those? It's ROUND. Trying to bite those in a sandwich is a challenge. It's easier to eat a burger stacked with toppings. :ninja:
