I Was Watching Spongebob When.....

If you don't know what Spongebob is; it's an American cartoon that plays on the Nicktoons network. It has been on TV for over 10 years now.

Spongebob, Patrick, Mr.Krabs, and Squidward all get stuck in the freezer at the Krusty Krab. Mr.Krabs mentions that he has worked there most of his life, and that there is only one way out. Patrick responds to that with, "A high school diploma?"

Also, quite possibly one of the wittiest jokes ever on Spongebob. Makes me want to catch up on the ones I missed.

Imagination Krusty Krab as a weak paying job. Mr.Krabs says he has been working at this job most of his life.

How do you get a opportunity to get a better job? By getting out of the job and getting a high school diploma.

Haha! Yes, as underwhelming as a lot of newer episodes of Spongebob are (that episode included, in my opinion), it's a pleasant surprise when those rare moments of witticism arise. Little glimmers of love amongst the rather deluded, watered-down turn the series has turned these days.

But I'm just a loserface that holds cartoons in much too high of a regard.

Yeah, back when I watched that I'd often be surprised at the stuff that was put into it.

Haven't seen it in ages, though... I guess popular opinion is it's gone downhill?
