After seeing rumors that IBM had released a developer manual for the Espresso CPU in the Wii U, I started wondering again how nobody has ported the classic macOSes (8-10.4) to Wii U.
I mean, it should be compatible.
On paper, the Wii U is essentially an iMac G3 (down to being based on the PowerPC 750, except it's also a triple-core CPU that runs up to ~1.6 GHz) with an RTX card attached to it (not really, but yknow.) And it makes more sense when you consider that the GameCube's Gekko is essentially modeled off the PowerPC 750CXe, used in several iBook G3 models. The 750CXe evolved to the 750CL, which then evolved into the Broadway and Espresso.
What's the hold-up? Drivers?
