I scared myself.

So I'm doing my philosophy work, and I start thinking to myself how weird it'd be if I died but then came back to life (like technical/brain death and then sudden scientific miracle revival, or being flash frozen for a few days and then thawed) and my ghost (or, actually the lasting impression my actions and existence had on the real world) came into being and "haunted" this house.

I totally imagined myself in the house, and hearing myself come down the stairs (I have an uneven, almost dancing way of doing it, people can recognize it's me by the sound) and then watching myself vanish (as I often run downstairs for a minute because the stairs lead almost exactly into the kitchen and one step into there on a counter on the left is where the snack foods are kept), or that I'd hear myself pacing around in a room upstairs (as I pace all the damn time), open the door and look in, and my ghost would look up from the pacing, catch my eyes, and then vanish in front of me.

Well, I kinda' freaked out and scared myself with those ideas, so I got online to have people to talk to. ._.

Um...ok...:wtf:

I like my ghosts, they keep me from being lonely, and talk to me when no one is around.

When I think of other ghosts I get scared... My own ghost... Hmm... it'd be so weird. More than scared I'd be annoyed by myself, I think.

Strange concept.

I can't say that I've ever thought about that, but I guess it'd be a bit freaky having a spirit version of what you once were roaming the home you still reside in. It'd be a constant and everlasting reminder of what you used to be before the incident. And while recovering from damage (assuming you've been dead long enough or if the incident caused such issues), this "being" would be there, doing whatever it felt right. As you aged, it would remain the same, always a younger you.

What would happen if you died and your spirit remained in the same house?

...
Sounds like it'd make an okay book though.

Then a movie?

What would happen if you died, and a second you joined the first one? Would you get other furry ghosts to party with you?

Chaz: I do often thing of how stuff in life or my ideas would become a movie or form of entertainment, thus me bothering to think out situations like that.

Sterl: I don't know if people would pay to go on a haunted house tour like that.
