I feel like I've been betrayed by my best friend for 4 years...well basically they have betrayed me and my trust. Taken my feelings and used them to get what they want disregarding how it affects other people. This was...is someone that I care about deeply and I never thought they were capable of it.

Our Perception Of Your Problem: Your friend's betrayed you, and now you are angry at the fact they betrayed your trust for many years.

Our Idea Of A Solution: Talk it out, and if they don't want to accept the fact they were wrong for betraying you, forget about them. True friends wouldn't do that, and you should find true friends that tell you the truth, even if it might hurt you.

Forgiving her will be very hard, she betrayed my trust and used my feelings as a tool and a stepping stone.
Cutting her out of my life.......I just don't see how I can do it.
As for the depression someone mentioned been there done that bought the T-shirt, depression is something I can handle but that's only if I let it get to that.
Right now I'm so unbelievably angry but for some strange obscene fucking reason I'm not angry at her.
If however she get's hurts from doing what she's done now I am seriously going to flip out and hurt someone after putting me through these feelings.

Misunderstandings such as these do occur frequently. I have been painted as the "villain" in such cases as well as having felt as though I had overreacted or misjudged the person in others.

Still, the possibility of deliberate betrayal is always there, but a reasonable friendship should allow for some flexibility with these issues now and then. If communication and willingness to forgive can not resolve this, severing a toxic relationship is the only option left.

You find comfort in the place you least expect to find it I have friends I never thought would care about me as much as they do one of them said something so sweet to me I almost cried (something I don't generally do) and another slapped the person that etrayed my trust >.>whilst I disapprove of it it's something I could never have done but I'm hoping she's realised what she's done to me and how she's made feel.

umm nope I never read the manga >,,< only watched the series of which I wish there was alot more too but either way it was a very good series and definately worth the watch

You know what, you are doing it right now. You did the right thing by expressing yourself to your peers (social peers anyway). I've been with this site for sooooooo long, and something I've noticed about this site (which I love btw), is how cool everyone is. Expressing yourself to like minding people, and so many people for that matter, gives you an opportunity to get different perspectives to solving an issue.

In any relationship, trust is important. If your friend betrayed your trust, and you feel like you can never regain that, then I suggest moving on. Friends, good friends, are hard to come by, so you will feel a little empty, but suffering what you have gone through a second time will not be worth it.

A lot of people made some great suggestions, but I think you didn't even need to ask as you've already made the best decision, venting.
