Anyway I always hated Water Temple as a kid and one time I thought I managed to get stuck by opening key doors in the wrong order or something cause I couldn't find the key I needed. Guess I was just missing the one @gameboy said though.

I don't mind it now, but I still find it kind of confusing, and having to put on and take off the iron boots all the time is a hassle. There's a mod to change boots with the D-pad which would be a major QoL improvement for anyone wanting to play the original.
This is supposedly included in the OoT randomizer as well.

What is the last child quest in OOT?Ive beat this game a good 15 times and never noticed this lol.

I'm pretty sure when he says "the last child quest" he is referring to the third spiritual stone

Yeah, it was a muslim prayer chant. Same reason why they changed the Gerudo symbol, original was a muslim holy symbol

I played the game when I was really young (4-5 ish 24 now) so I didn't really know anything about islam at the time.I am now curious what version of Zelda I have but I somehow find this completely facinating.How did Nintendo manage to include both the song and the symbols without knowing it had religious connotations? This makes me want to replay OOT even though I have beat the game to death.

I think they did know, but that they didn't quite understand at the time that it could be controversial

I mean, the gerudo are desert dwelling people who are based on arabic people - it's no mistake they bear a symbol present on many arab and muslim majority nation's flags (see turkey)

@Maluma The Music wasn’t the only thing they changed. They also changed the blood color. It used to be red, but they changed it to green.

There’s 4 different versions on N64. 1.0, 1.1A, 1.1B, 1.2

The symbols are want changed till gamecube release.
