I May Have Just Punched the Battery Out of My PSP

I've been really angry lately for a lot of life reasons (life has sort of been fucking me over for 17 years), and the difficulty on normal for Oath of Felghana is enough to drive me over the edge as it is. I mean, wtf. 20 damage at a time against a boss with 1200 HP? What kind of shit is that? It isn't difficult, it's unbalanced as hell.

I ended up punching the back of the PSP, and the battery door popped off and the battery fell out. I haven't cared enough to put it back in.

Edit: Just wondering, is it supposed to be so difficult to get the PSP 1000 battery door to latch on correctly? I've only managed it a handful of times. The rest of the time, it doesn't sit on the push tab right.

First off, Oath of Felghana is a cheap bastard. It just throws bosses with like 10x more health than you who deal at least 3x more damage at you right off the back. I kinda stopped playing it because there was a difference between genuine challenge and the game just being a cheap bastard. The curve was too much for me to care about playing any more.

And the door is pretty easy to knock off, don't be worried or surprised if you did. I've knocked the battery out of my own a few times.

This makes me feel better about pretty much the entirety of the events that transpired.

This blog post is fucking hilarious.

Thank you so much for punching your PSP. THANK YOU. ^_^

I've actually been really good with my PSP. The already kind of messed up DSlite my friend gave me awhile back suffered a worse fate when rage got the best of me. I am really careful to never punch too hard, and this is only the second time, with the first time being so light, nothing happened.

Can't put a punching bag in an apartment. If I were to hang one of those in the ceiling, my family would probably get in trouble. That, and I lack the funds for one.

My anger issues are only at video games. It is generally really hard to make me angry otherwise. I'm a fairly chill guy.

And yeah, if the battery cover comes off then the PSP's battery can actually fall out if you shake it, depending on the model.[/quote]

The PSP battery in my 1000 seems to just kind of rest in there, not even really hooked in. I mean, it works fine, though there was one time when my battery door was apparently on at a weird angle or something, and pressing buttons (primarily the start button) could actually be enough to move the battery to a degree that my PSP shut off. I was kinda freaking out at first when that happened until I thought to try to check the cover.

That article is also fantastic. I've played some downright masochistic games before, and that helps to distinguish the different types of masochism one may experience.

Speaking of meatballs, what's the deal with meatball sandwich? How can people eat those? It's ROUND. Trying to bite those in a sandwich is a challenge. It's easier to eat a burger stacked with toppings. :ninja:
