I just scored 2 HP touchpads 16gb :D

if you guys already dont know HP is selling their touchpads really cheap(its a fire sale)

i got two of them over amazon for 99 each plus shipping

one of them is for myself which i will be using in school while the other one is for my dad which i think he wants to sell for profit

if you guys want to get one head over to SD or something... you might get lucky


speaking of school the people im rooming with for the upcoming year bailed on me
its not really a problem for me.. but i really wanted to have SCII and DOTA2(when it comes out) buddies to room with :/

so its either im stuck with people i dont know(which i dont have a problem with, unless they're assholes) or by myself, which isnt really that bad just incredibly lonely :(

well i wont be alone, there will be two other people from the other room, but me in a big room by myself seems pretty depressing

eh more room for my mining rig for bitcoins once i actually make one

still even with that, i cant wait for next month, SF64 3D, new school year, 10 free games for my 3DS, birthday and conclave for a group im in(cookie for the people who know what i'm taking about)(and no its nothing to do with any religion :P)

I wonder how many I should buy without feeling like a complete idiot later on. I mean, this is a nationwide clearance sale, a retailer would have to be idiotic to not drop the price now. Plus, people might not like these as Christmas gifts. I'm probably just gonna buy one for myself.

the place where i got it from (onSale via amazon) cancels orders if you get more than two per household.. TBH im still hoping mine doesnt get cancelled :/

so try two, and sell the other one, i've seen people who want it for 150-200(well at least in my area)

if anything the price will go up, its been discontinued and Hp wont make any more of them

Oh well. I use Netflix on the main computer anyways. It already does everything I want a good tablet to do, so I should be very content. Maybe I'll use the extra money I have leftover to buy a case or something.

I am seriously considering this but I just bought a laptop recently and I'm still kinda in sticker shock from that. However this is a great price. :unsure:

it is, it more or less your last chance until newegg changes their price( they probably will soon, like tomorrow at the earliest) it'll be hard to get them after a while

true, a laptop is better that this, but im only buying this because it works more as a ebook reader than my laptop will... and its lighter too

edit: its on sale for dirt cheap too... cant beat that

By that logic, the fact that its 500$ down to 100$ means it might spontaneously combust in your lap.

Either way, it'd probally just end up sitting on my shelf getting dusty. (Just like my Ipod Touch, and my other various electronic devices)

well I think I can pass either way. I have enough clutter as it is. the price on this is interesting to me at most. I am just keeping my money saved for the next time I upgrade my desktop or purchase a new laptop.

sad to say though, an i5 15" apple laptop is about $1600 and that is about $1000 more than it needs to be. 13" will go on sale at some point for $900 but that leaves much to be desired as well.
