maybe because I was too lazy to grind, but it seems this version is harder than I expected. I died during boss battles, a lot. during my boss battles in black omen, my level was around 50-ish, and that didnt' save from hit by massive amount of damages. I have finished this game numerous times in the past so I had no patience to maximize my stats, so I just use infinity hp/mp cheat and spam powerful spells.
The ending scene is still as good as I remember when I first finished this game like 20+ years ago (I think it was in 2000 when I played this game for the first time). This scene still got me for good.
I wish we the true sequel of Chrono Trigger, but I don't think a sequel is necessary at all.
