i found a DSI, it worth?

so as you probably know consoles here are always expensive, but i found a black DSI used for $47 (USD)
it cames with the console a 2gb sd card and a flashcart Acekard 2
i have money enough for it, but it's not always that i will have money, since the last year i'm saving money and today i have $220
my mom will probably kill me XD but i want to know if it worth the seller says the console works fine and it's good to play, well people say a lot of things i asked on the site but he didn't answered yet
i really want this console is working fine because if yes i will try to get it

Eh, if you have a regular DS/Lite it is NOT worth it. Save up for 3DS or whatever. Currently saving up for a monitor. I have enough to buy it (I have 330 and the monitor is 204) but I just don't have a card to buy it on amazon lmao.
 
well, VinLark consoles are expensive here, i have a little bad 3ds and get a new one isn't an option i will waste more than the money i have saved
this is the cheapest DSI i ever found

Honestly, if you 3ds works fine I don't think there is no reason to get a console that is unsupported and the 3ds can be virtually everything the dsi could (and more)

If you have a 3ds, imo, theres no need for a dsi.
3ds (especially with cfw) can do nearly everything a dsi can.

i just though in buy it because i wanted to collect and DS games suffer upscale on resolution which makes a little weird, and run in the native resolution mode makes the screens REALLY TINY even more than DS screen (not resolution but screen)
 
maybe a 2ds would be better
especially with this new 2ds xl coming out
idk if its released yet though

it was released already but as i said everything is expensive in my country
i can't even find new 2ds to buy here, and if new 3ds is already expensive ($400 brand new)

depends on the firmware version. if it is 1.4 get it, dsi scene is coming strong and you may sell it later and make a profit.
 
If you're able to get a DS flash card for your 3DS, I'd say save your money. The slight upscaling is alright and completely doable if you're being cost-conscious. Also, afaik you can't actually confirm it's working, right? If the price is too good to be true, I'd be suspicious.

I agree with you completely about the upscaling. I basically never play DS or GBA on my 3DS.

That said, if you're going to get a DSi, the XL is the way to go. I adore mine.

Where are you that makes those so expensive? I got my DSi XL here in Tokyo for like $20, used but like new.
 
You can always disable upscaling if you don't like it.
And if you own a 3DS XL or so, the non upscaled picture looks about the same size as a DS Lite.

the cheapest 2ds i found is $144
some stores usually sell them for $226
also i rather 3ds cuz i can close the screens
