Well, today I went to this school to which I had applied and gone to do some tests last week... Last Tuesday I did the elimination tests they had (which was basically tests to rate the candidates intelligence and remove those who didn't live up to their standards), to be honest I wasn't that confident in my results, I hadn't slept the day before and to top it off, the walk on foot to that school is roughly one hour (one hour walking seems so much longer when you're tired) and then I had to do those tests. The test consisted of five phases, each phase consisted in a different kind of test and they all had a time limit, the average was 10 minutes to answer 30/40 questions, all of which required logic and thinking (basically you had 4 choices to pick based on the images/text that was shown, you had to pick the correct choice 'A', 'B', 'C' or 'D') and all that within the time limit (I previously said 10 minutes but some of them were 7 minutes and others were 17, it was kinda relative).
Anyway, past Friday I got the news, I had passed the tests, which immediately made happy, I mean, out of 160 people that went to do the tests, only 20 passed (that's the limit they put from what they told me on the phone) so I felt very damn awesome, and was informed that next Monday (today), I should go there so that the psychologist could talk to me and get to know how I was and stuff. While I was there, she showed me my scores in the exams, those things made me feel even more friggin awesome, in two of the tests I had 4 (the ratings were 1 to 5, being 3 normal score and the demanded score by them 4), in other two I had 5, and in the last one I had only 3, however, summing it all up, my ratings were pretty damn awesome, seeing as since July I hadn't done pretty much anything to exercise my brain.
Now I'll just wait for a call from them this week or next, if I passed the psychological analyses, I should be set to go, out of those 20 people only 15 will pass (the class are only for 15 people).
Man... I hope I pass that... Mechatronic is a damn awesome thing to do. <3
