I feel a little like Macgyver

My MicroSD card that I had loaned to my sister showed up this morning. I was happy, yet sad as I don't have a MicroSD card reader right now. She also hadn't put any of the latest games on the card.

I first tried to put it in the SD adapter, then into a digital camera. Total fail. Couldn't write to the MicroSD at all.

I was getting frustrated, as I wanted to use it really badly. I started searching for a MicroSD card reader, then I saw my MP3 player with a MicroSD card reading slot. Through much trial, I got my MP3 player to link up to the computer correctly (loooong story). I then had to boot the MP3 player in disc mode, as I couldn't write to the root of the MicroSD card from the normal file browsing view.

Long story short, I got it to work through ridiculous means and am now playing Re: Coded. YAY

Sansa Fuze 8gb. I wasn't sure if I would be able to write to it correctly without it doing some weird formatting thing to the MicroSD card like the camera had done before it. I actually tried without putting it into disc read mode before, but everything ended up in a folder on the root of the MicroSD card rather than on the root itself.

Sorry that I didn't use any paper clips or string to rig up a ghetto MicroSD card reader. I'll try harder next time.

I doubt it works but also to the point that there are usb ports right next to the ethernet jack...
