Same here, all i play are backups of my carts. But thank fully, i havent turned on my 3ds, because i am afraid of getting banned. I havent turned it on for around two weeks.

@DeoNaught, if you aren't banned yet, it is still a good idea to go in and change your settings.

I think Nintendo really did find a way to detect systems with CFW.
Just try to unban it using the methods found in the forums.

You are already banned, what's there to be scared to use the public seed? Worst it could happen is that you end up banned again.

A LocalFriendCodeSeed that somebody relaesed to the public, so anybody can use it.

Public Seeds can be used by multiples consoles with no issue, the downside is that if they ban it they ban everybody using it.

Don't feel too bad I got banned aswell.You can always get a localfriendcodeseed to unban yourself from the chaos site,the unban method is risk free too since you just inject it after a NAND backup so if something goes wrong during the injection you can restore that NAND backup.Ive been using a public one and Its been working since last Thursday.

Yeah the public Seed would fix the Seed ban (002), which was the only ban in this wave, the 022 is related to an invalid Seed.

Ah ok. What's hilarious to me is that that 022 ban had that luma patch but I still have it active and haven't been re-banned. I guess they just removed the ban

Just use the public seed..... What are you afraid of? Being banned? Rofl... Worst case you're just back to where you are now. The ban will NEVER be lifted, so you literally have NOTHING to lose. Just do it. If you get rebanned, find another seed. Just back up your original seed and NAND first and you have nothing to worry about.

The emulators are probably what got you banned. If I was to guess from the information we have gathered since the ban wave, it seems likely that they are looking for TitleIDs that don't exist. Homebrew shows up in the activity log as the Download Play app, and fake CIA's show up as just ??????. That last one is what I'm guessing they are looking for.

Before you unban yourself, go into your friends list, choose settings, and turn off the option to "show friends what game you are playing." This will prevent you from playing games online with friends, so turn it back on when you wanna game with someone, but ALWAYS keep it off when running custom CIAs. Next, go into system settings -> internet settings -> spotpass, and turn off BOTH options. One is auto download software, the other sends system information to Nintendo. Also, make sure you don't have your favorite title set to something stupid like FBI or any other non-Nintendo CIA.

Its VERY likely that these options are what tipped off Nintendo, but we aren't 100% certain yet. The amount of banned people that had one of these options turned on was over 80% for each. If I was to assume that some of those people overlap, its very possible (but not confirmed) that 100% of banned people in the survey had at least one of those options turned on. I personally had all of them off and I have TONS of reasons for Nintendo to ban me.... yet I am not banned (yet).
