How to deal with a break up? Suggestions please..

Hi! sorry if this should be in the EoF admin or mod please move if needed.

Basically on the edge with my boyfriend currently, doesn't even listen to me when i talk to him ,all he does is talk about himself and never has time for me, he lives quite far but i wouldn't call it a long distance relationship although it is a train ride away. I just told him how I feel and replies with just "okay" and im like really, though, not sure what to do and im a bit of an emotional wreck.. pls someone..

Sounds like the relationship is over. No big deal - it happens. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can start to get over it.

Responding with "okay" after someone pours their heart out to you is just straight disrespect.

The best advice I can give is get out while you can, unless it gets better.

My mother's first husband was a real charmer, and then they got engaged. Then he started acting like what you said, and then they got married.

He beat her to where she still has scars. Since he was in the military nobody took any action. While I cannot confirm you're relationship will end like this, I still recommend to get out before something really bad happens

If a guy treats you like that, then he does not deserve you. This stuff happens, and I know it hurts... My suggestion is to first calm down, then when you feel ready go ahead and break up.

If you need any help, I'll be glad to help you out(even though you don't really know me, I still want to help :D )! :)

Some people just get bored of the other person in the relationship after a while.

This guy obv isn't for you. He was probably never as emotionally invested as you are. You just have to keep on looking.

If it's already all over for him, then he won't be interested in what you have to say. It's just meaningless info to him because he has already made up his mind.

....maybe he's gay? You'll be fine, after some time. When I was younger, I was crushed to nothing and started to feel pretty shitty because I did everything right, but none of it mattered in the end. Even worse, I could have done SOOOOOO much better if I had done all the wrong things.

I'm definitely not saying you should do the wrong things at all, but please, understand™, some people don't have an idea how to treat others or even know what they want in the first place.

Look at this as a lesson learnt on what you don't want in life.

Tell him you want to break up with him. If he says "okay" then you know he's not that into you. Then you're free to move on with your life. Don't waste time on someone who doesn't care.

i don't believe in love no more.
it is one of the most complext things to me , and dude man if that guy isn't into you anymore.

then just say *F*4#( him* in your mind, you'll get over it someday.
if you have been with him for long, it will take a long time to get over, but more difficult if you have had a strong bond with him and loved him like he was the world to you.

then prepare for depressing days as that guy will come venturing into your thoughts without you even wanting to.
love sucks a$$ at times, i am single and i still can't get my ex out of my heart, it is so difficult.

for those that are mentally not so strong, it will be exremely difficult.
