If it was made before October 2000 you don't have to do anything to it, just source some game ISOs and burn them to CD-R using disc juggler or similar - make sure they are the right region though.

2 to look out for are Half-Life Gold (better than PC version, and Ikaruga.

I used to have 80+ DC games, now I just have ISOs of Half-Life, Propeller Arena and Ikaruga, and no machine

Good news. It was manufactured April 2000. I'm going to get some ISOs now, since I have a crap load of CD-R's in my garage. This is such win.

I got a free dreamcast a long time ago also
only good game it came with though was crazy taxi
and a bunch of sub par games, never bothered burning games or anything

Cool man. There is a good game out there, can't remember what it is called. There was a sequel for the 360 I think. Or PS2. Ugh. I'll find out. Supposed to be one of the best games out there.

yeah that was an amazing game...also the sequel was on dreamcast for EU/JP only it came out on Xbox for US its just a shame that they never made the 3rd game and finish the story it just died =(...

but on topic~ my uncle used to let us play his dreamcast when we went over his place when we were younger (we being me and my brothers) and i remember playing some fighting game (soul caliber III i think) and i used to button mash so much that my thumb would get blistered

Just soul calibur. Soul calibur was for the ps2 and was made long after the dc died.

Nope that one was soul calibur 2. Soul calibur 3 was a ps2 exclusive. Sould calibur was much cooler with link in it!
