Being a mod (different forum obviously) is starting to get on my nerves, lol.
It's a HUGE forum system, and i'm basically the only mod for the videogame forum. There are 3 others, but 2 are inactive and the 3rd is a cool guy, but a terrible mod.
I've always been a pretty slack mod. I'll let most things go. It's how VG has always worked (VG = videogames forum).
But this kid has been SERIOUSLY testing my patience lately.
All he posts is how much he thinks *insert japanese game* sucks, or that only games before fucking 1999 are "real". (IE: He goes into a thread for say, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and starts ranting about how only the original non RPG Castelvania's are 'real', he does this for ANY game that can be found on a console predating the N64 with a game of the same series on a higher gen console).
All I do is hand out 1 day bans to him for this shit. I could probably be doing week and month long bans by now (abuse stacks, so if you get banned for 1 day, next offense of a similar nature is 2 days).
I've given this kid about a mile of slack. All he does is turn around and spit in my face.
Fuck.
I've never, ever liked giving out bans longer then a day or two, but the next time this kid breaks the rules, he's getting hit with a month long ban.
Random rant. Just had to let off some steam before I went to bed >_>
