Things went okay -- he actually thanked me for calling him a jerk and an asshole and giving him the verbal beating he deserved for not getting in touch with me the past 1 1/2 years.
And promised to make it up to me, at least to make sure he didn't backlog responding to IMs or emails from me.
He has a hectic job where he's at, and I appreciate that. So I forgave him, just not without a hearty lashing.

About a month late, but hey, I'm new to the club.
Well, at least you still communicate; hopefully you'll eventually be able to get in contact more often without any of those long hiati.
