HERMAN REE IS COO

I just got back from Dragonforce, Turisas, and Powerglove (they're unsigned, but kickass).

Lol i went for Turisas originally when I bought the ticket, but then about 2 weeks ago I saw some 08 live videos of Dragonforce and, yea, they REALLY have improved live.

Of course, there were tons of hxc kids, posers, and guitar hero kids (fuck there was even little kids in the pit), but that's too be expected from Dragonforce, who knows, maybe one day they'll fall out of the semi-mainstream world and rejoin the metal underground and renew their former glory.

Turisas was fucken epic, got a tour shirt, got it signed by and a photo with Hannu :)

and I got photos with Powerglove (man, for an unsigned band, really surprised me that the bassist could afford a Warwick)

I remember Dragonforce was so good before they became famous. :( I hate when bands that I listen to become increasingly famous and start to change to get more popular. AKA Dragonforce, Slipknot, and In Flames. I have to say Children of Bodom is one of the only bands that haven't changed when they have become that famous. They just got more industrial sounding.

Sorry for my little rant. I'm glad you enjoyed the show though. :blush:

Idk, doesn't seem like Dragonforce has really changed all the much (maybe except for Vadim who has now adopted Herman's sense of ego and started running around stage too), I think Ultra Beatdown is okay, I think it'll take some time for me to get used to it and fully accept it.

But whatever man, that's the music business for you.

Also, some funny moments:
Once during Operation Ground and Pound when Frederic was growling a line, he screwed up, and then ZP skipped the next line he was supposed to sing and just looked at Fred and said, "Dude, what the fuck was that?"

And then during Valley of the Damned, Powerglove suddenly just ran onto stage with a bunch of swords and started running around with Herman, Sam, and Vadim

    Teraflops are not necessarily indicative of real world performance, especially when compared across different architectures. The Switch 2 will also be smaller/lighter than the Steam Deck so it's performance has to fit inside a much smaller thermal and power envelope. Using a 120hz VRR panel means 40 fps locks can be an option in handheld mode, which will be a noticeable upgrade over the current 30 fps standard on Switch 1. Games could also go uncapped and leverage VRR to keep things smooth.

    Call me a filthy casual but I really don't notice the difference between the last few generations of consoles, and pushing specs just for the sake of bragging rights is really pointless.

    Yea I think the HDR and 60fps+ have been the biggest noticeable improvements, along with faster load times/ ssd hd.

    Playing the devils advocate, o nstema deck I drop the FPS on most games to 30 due power conservation and tbh I see little to none difference to 60fps. I'd say the difference is in what one wants to believe

    I mostly play shooter games and after playing 120fps (on 120hz tv) most of the time, 60fps otherwise, its hard going back to 30fps, it feels like its in slow motion or screen stuttering.

    New Fallout 76 update is pretty cool, you can now be a Ghoul. No need to eat or drink, but you must self dose yourself with radiation regularly or else lose health. Can goto radiatied hot spots now w no damage.
