Happy pride month

Yadayadayada. I'm bisexual, although I haven't come out to my parents or really anyone irl aside from an ex-coworker, but am open about it on the internet. Whoop de fucking doo.

If you didn't suspect or know at this point you probably haven't spoken to me very much, I really don't make it a secret.

Happy pride month to all of you out there and remember, even if you're not accepted irl, don't let that discourage you from being who you want to be and most importantly make sure you can be yourself online alright <3.

Image fully relevant, also skeletons are cool as shit and you ain't gonna convince me otherwise.

@Cyan - A cursory Google search indicates that the term has become a derivation from the expression "skeleton in the closet". In my case I use the expression to refer to an LGBTQ+ person who hasn't come out yet irl. Whether that's parents, family, friends, coworkers or so on is irrelevant, you can be "in the closet" to some of those.

The plus part of LGBTQ+ is a shorthand for LGBTQIANB, but saying that tends to be unwieldly so it's usually shortened to LGBTQ+ with the Q+ part covering the other letters (which are I=Intersex, A=Asexual, NB=Non-Binary). The plus is meant to specifically cover all other forms of sexual orientation and gender expression that are simply less common than being gay, bi or trans.

Happy Pride Month! I'm also part of the LGBT community (sorry, can't keep up with the popular abbreviations)! I also don't see why we need an entire month when most other things get 1 day. Anyway, enjoy! Don't be afraid of who you are!

I still don't know how to answer that question. would I date someone in the closet? I'll just assume "if that person is not straight, I were not either, and they didn't tell yet".
or maybe more commonly, dating someone with a big hidden secret? I'll just skip that question :P (OKcupid, already answered more than 1000 of them. I found someone with more than 700 identical answers but not in my country, too bad)

I thought it was just one day too, not the full month. doesn't hurt to get more coverage.

@Cyan - Yeah, that question seems a bit confusingly worded. No idea what that could mean. Maybe the assumption that either of you is bi and not out yet?

The majority of the LGBTQ community won't do this, but some do and by the looks of things it's becoming more of an accepted practice. I would advise you to talk to your friends to make sure it doesn't become a common practice.
