Guide on how to run Large NeoGeo games on the Wii (KOF 97-2003, Garou, Metal Slug 5, etc)

Hello guys! Today I finished making a guide about how to run large NeoGeo games on the Wii with an modified build of FinalBurn Alpha NeoGeo, which is needed to play several games like the following:
  • The King of Fighters '97, '98, '99, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003
  • Garou Mark of the Wolves
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury 2
  • Shock Troopers 2
  • Samurai Shodown V and V Special
  • Metal Slug 3, 4 and 5
  • The Last Blade
  • The Last Blade 2
  • Rage of the Dragons
  • Power Instinct Matrimelee
  • SVC Chaos: SNK vs Capcom
  • Strikers 1945 Plus
While the guide is currently avaliable as an external link on my blog (here), I may see if I can backport the guide itself into this post while maintaining the formatting used. In any case, I made this guide as I remember wanting to get KOF98 working so bad on my Wii, but had some issues, among those the fact that the ROM wasn't the right kind (MAME instead of FBA); and after I finally got it working, wanted to share about some few important things in order to use it, as well as the answer to some few issues I had when I first tried it with an Gamecube controller. In any case, I hope that this gets to help out many out there!

i cannot make it work garou and kof2003, i tried many version and none works. can be possibile to share the file to grab to get garou working?

guys im going crazy to find the valid rom for garou and kof2003 i spendt around 20days any second looking for it bt noone working in any site... some help please

I still haven't been able to play kof98 (no problems with the rest) How did you do it??

There is a spanish youtube video that has a MEGA download link attached with Garou and other SNK games already converted.
I can confirm that they work. I can´t give you more hints.

Anyone managed kof98 to work? I have Universe bios 3.0 (worked for the rest of games) It loads bios splash screen and can access to bios options. After that I get a black screen and nothing happens but I can access retroarch menu.
Tried bios rom check and it is ok.
Tried rom on FBA v0.2.97.29 version on PC and it works.

I don't know what else to do.
