Gotta Catch 'Em All!

Well, I knew it was going to happen and of course it did... I got a Pokemon game! This is now my 2nd official DS game purchase. Yeah, I know... arrrrgh! It's the least I can do since I've picked up such a bad habit over the years. This game helped spawn my love for the GBC and got so many playing hours from me. Anyone else break the mold and decided to go ahead and buy a copy?

I'm going to get it in a couple of days.
I decided from the amount of time I'll probably play it, it's worth the money.
Also, the Pokewalker may or may not be worth having.

But really, is buying games that uncommon for you? So much that you need to announce that you bought a game rather than pirating it?

Yes, ever since I discovered you can obtain things through the internet rather than buying so many years ago. I was young, naive, and didn't have much money so it became 2nd nature. I've only recently started paying for games as I've come to be able to afford it. I mainly play PC games now over my DS, so I have purchased many PC games too. This isn't a PC site so I felt announcing those are unnecessary. I know it doesn't make up for what I have done, but that's not the point here. I'm sure there's plenty of other people are in the same boat.

The last game i actually payed for was MW2 for the XBOX360..

Yeah, I'm on the boat too. Just got my SoulSilver shipped. Also I noticed 90% of everyone on here has bought SS over HG.

I don't have either, but SoulSilver sounds like a better name.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
