Got FF13

Yeah so I finally got the game, £2 cos I traded in some of my old DS, Wii and PSP games - Monster Hunter, Phantom Hourglass, PES 09, HOTD Overkill.
My first impressions: Graphics, wow. Absolutely beautiful. Im only in the bit where your with Snow for the first time, so combat is meh. I've heard it gets way better and more complex though as you go through, so Im okay with it for now. The storyline looks really promising. Menus are nice and slick. Thats it at the moment. May do a review of it in the future

For the PS3, yes? I'm starting to get into it...
I'm still too addicted to CoD to start properly playing it for long periods, though.

same here Thoob. I feel like I'd get it and then let it sit for a few weeks. Then the price goes down and I can't get the better price. Whatever I'll still probably get it next time I hit the stores.

I have the PS3 version and I'm loving it so far. I'm in Chapter 9 so I won't spoil it for you. But if you think the graphics are good so far, wait til you get to an area called Sunleth Waterscape. That blew my mind.

Nice, FF13. I got it for 360 and it was really good. Been playing it for all of March Break to this very day.

Taking a break though. Too much RPG will get you bored D:

I'm taking a break from FFXIII for tonight. 1) I have a Warhammer 40K match first thing 2mrw morning and half of my army still isn't painted, and 2) I'm bored of fighting the same enemies in chapter 9 over an over to farm for upgrades for Lightning's Gladius, will take the night off to paint and farm some more over the weekend.

@blaze: if you think Chapter 9 was bad, oh haha, just you wait and see Chapter 11...

I'm not bored of chapter 9, I just don't feel like farming right now. Besides, it's best if I take a break for tonight to paint anyway.

Yeah, it's a very good game. I'm astounded how fanboys react to these newer games for not living up to standards. Seriously? God DAMN!

I'm in chapter 9 as well... Been playing it slowly... Today I'm took a break though. been playing it for 20 hours in 4 days (that's like 5 hours a day, not THAT much but still) so... a break was needed.

I just got to say, without spoiling anything, that fighting get's a little bit tedious in chapter 9 (atleast in my opinioin) the fights are easy, but take way too long.
