Yes since Saturday...I just wanted to share the fact that I "got rid" a few days ago of the hack that got me into 3ds hacking...ironic isn't it?

Yes ^^ I like switching the 3ds just to see it boost...I'm amazed how fast and reliable it is...
It still feels weird being on sysnand 11.0 but still being able to use NTR or other tools like that...

What made you wanna use a9lh and cfw in the first place?

It dates back from end of October - start of November 2015 when I discovered the 3ds section of Gbatemp. I first became interested in homebrew since at the time my 3ds (standard model) was at 9.9 and downgrade was impossible. I discovered Browserhax and Themehax which became Menuhax. And later hax 2.5 with Hans and the e-shop version spoofer. That's when I decided to stay at 9.9 forever...

Until Nintendo put a wrench into this plan by introducing the NNID version checks...meaning that I couldn't access pokebank anymore unless I updated my 3ds to the latest version at the time 10.3...and loose Menuhax since in November Menuhax wasn't yet based on theme shuffle...

That's when I decided that since Nintendo wanted to block me from using harmless homebrew...Then I'll go all the way into cfw/eùunand just to spite them and continue using my favorite entry point...So I decided to buy a 3ds with a system firmware below and equal to 9.2. I bought a red 3ds Xl with 4.3 on e-bay not realising it had dog bites external damages...fortunately it still worked well even if it was ugly looking. I installed Rxtools on it during the christmas holiday and system transfered my first 3ds data to it's Emunand. Said 3ds got reformated by the transfer and sat on a shelf at 10.3 for a time.

Then Memchunkhax was discovered and downgrading from 10.3 to 9.2 became possible. I downgraded that 3ds that was sitting on the shelf with the intent to install Mario legit CIAs on it and gift it to my little brother...
He played Mario Kart 7 on it but is not really interested anymore and the 3ds came back to me...

A few weeks later i finally decided to get my 3ds XL fixed and shell changed. A few months later A9lh was discovered...I wans't interested at all at the time due to the risks...

Then it became safer with tools and the Plailect's guide. It was slowly becoming the new standard. I was interested because of the 100% bootrate but scared by the brick risk and the long install time...
I decided that i was going to wait until the rest of the family was on holiday to install A9lh. In March-April I found ihavemac's Ninhax payloads without debug colours which did wonders to my Menuhax bootrate ^^. I also switched my CFW from Rxtools to Aureinand which became Luma.

Finally July came and on the 9th (last week) my family went on holiday giving me free unlimited access to the computer. So I decided to finally take the plunge and follow step 4 and step 5 of Plailect's guide and install A9LH.
Everything went well...I was scared at the moment of the one-click setup with OTP, but fortunately both of my 3ds passed the validation stages.

So yeah...I went into cfw...just to be able to continue using Hans with Menuhax...and into A9LH to do like every one else...XD

Sound like a long wait. Was it worth it now? What have you done since hving a9lh?

Since having A9lh I've been continuing something I have started a few weeks ago : Fire Emblem fates with the Gay patch on NTR...XD

I would use A9LH I got confused by the tutorial so I didn't even try maybe someday I'll attempt this.
