GBATemp Tour '08: Hands-On impressions & afterthoughts!

I know I'm being a little repetitive here, but whatahell.

I feel really lucky when I start relating to somebody here on the boards, people really worth it with so many beliefs and points of view, and I do think I'm lucky enoug to say I have really great friends here. Imagine my joy when I was lucky enough to met some of them!.

Let me tell you how it all started: After reading Costello's post I was really really excited, gotta understand that, after moving to the US, the only that really stayed the same in my life was GBATemp, the only friends that really remain are you guys.
So, after an awful connection from "Where streets have no name, MD" to NJ (4.5 hours waiting in PA's station!) I finally got to the hotel.

Costello, McDonald's and Shaun
They there were, Costello, Shaun and mthr live!, those guys are cool beyond explanation!
After a few while SpikeyNDS and m|kk| joined the party, they are such a cute couple, SpikeyNDS is really funny and m|kk| is kind and cuter than any of her previous avatars.

Three really cool cats
The first day we went for a walk in Times Square, no signs of the Pope (lucky us) then a visit to Hard Rock Cafe and Nintendo World Store ended up the day; I did have the chance to post from the hotel on our way back.

Sunday started early, @8am we were having breakfast and by 10am we were on our way to take the Ferry to Liberty Island.
An hour later we were on the Ferry on route to meet Ms. Liberty herself.

I had to get back home a mid afternoon that day so the whole group joined me on my way to the Station. Four hours of sleep ahead and I was back home with an enourmous grin I couldn't erase from my face, I had finally met some of my most dearest friends and had probably the best weekend in a long, long time.

Costello, Shaun, mthrnite, SpikeyNDS and m|kk| are so much fun! I hope you know that this trip met the world to me, thanks for the warm welcome and the truly touchy goodbye. This was an experience I will always remember.

On the side note, realy think we should do this a LOT more often, I was thinking that a trip to some place won't kil anyone's economy, Canada perhaps?, how about another city on the US?, hell, when I have the money I can even go to Europe!
