It's because you're at the Wizards forums, where only idiots post. There's a lot of DND discussion in the Traditional Games section of SomethingAwful and they're all pretty cool people who seem to know their shit if you feel like making the switch to a forum with (semi) sane people.

Thanks, I'll give it a look, I deleted the Wizard's bookmark this morning, just can't find a reason to want to go back.

Just wandering my blog here and seeing if any of my threads have merit to add updates.

Ok with regards to Wizards of the Coast, it is no longer relevant if their site crashes and burns I guess. Ya see, after spending an OMG too damned much money in 2 years of playing 4th edition, I have walked out on Dungeons and Dragons totally. IE no, I don't care if there ever is a 5th edition, or whether Essentials is realistically 4.5 or just 4th the Second Round or whatever.

I have too many books, likely heading for Kijiji too that I CAN always just use in pdf form if I were ever to backslide (not likely).
Thinking of ripping apart 4th edition and re writing it as I personally think it should have been done around 1990 instead of 3rd). And this assumes I ever want to touch running D&D any edition ever again.

Becaaaaaaaaause I have clearly and most assuredly fallen into preferring Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd edition. No I am not into the table top miniature action though.
3rd edition WFRP though does not exist any more so that Highlander the sequel movie number 2

It's not that WFRP 2nd edition is perfect, but, it is a game made for ROLE play as opposed to a table top wargame pretending to be about role gaming. It just feel more like what I think Gary had in mind back in the 70s. I won't gush on about the game design, not my intent here today. I am just getting some closure on my thoughts regharding Wizards of the Coast and their forums, which now have utterly no use to me at all. I simply have no reason to care what is happening in their game.
