Fuck Betternet

For those of you who don't know, I used to use a free VPN service called Betternet. Keyword: used. Now, I don't anymore because of what happened today. I opened chrome, a pop up appeared. I thought nothing of it, so I closed it. Then ads started randomly appearing, it was getting to the point I couldn't even use some websites. So I opened a different browser to search for some answers, found Google's support page, and reset all my chrome settings. It stopped. At this point, I started turning on extensions one by one until the problems came back. When I enabled Betternet, they came back. The thing is, this was extremely unexpected because I have used this extension for months, and I never had any problem. Oh well, I don't really need to use VPNs as much as I did a few months ago, so it's not much of a lose, but still...
