So, on Friday my son Jason was born, 8lbs 7oz, and he has a full head of hair. Shit was awesome. Its been a lot of work so far, but he is beautiful.
Anyway, besides that, my Brother handed me a Sidekick LX and basically told me, "If you can fix it, you can have it". The screen was all jumbled up and stuff when you flipped the screen, so, since everything was working besides that I decided to troubleshoot the problem, and the first thing I did was to clean the contacts where the screen connects to the phone.
Success! It works like a charm, there was just a bit of dirt on the contacts and now I have a basically new Sidekick LX. I don't have internet access with it, but I really dont need anything other than text and phone, and its a great texting phone. Woo!
