Facebook originally was just like MySpace for people to reconnect and get in touch with new folks to be friends and all but now it has become like the 'new' 4chan/NeoGaf/GameFaqs. I'll share my story.
Before my parents and sisters got into Facebook, in terms of communication with other family members (cousins, uncles and such) were OK but with Facebook into the mix they began to get into stupid hateful discussions and as for myself, I've steered well away from it (I only have a Facebook account to log in to apps/websites or enter competitions) because it wouldn't do any good. When I mean 'hateful' it's exactly that, hostile conversations which I hope that they do not take actual physical action but when dealing with people who lose their shit you never know (I don't even socialise much or at all with the family members of my parents because they're extremely close to being unfriendly strangers).
The definition of adult: a person who is fully grown or developed.
The definition of mature: fully developed physically; full-grown.
I just posted above those two definitions to prove my point that even when people call themselves "adults" and "mature" they are being hypocrites by falling into conversations and actions that they could literally avoid it at all costs.
Here's an example, IMDb/YouTube has tons of trolls but I personally avoid/ignore talking to them or getting into heated discussions because it's a waste of time which would do no good. If they were family members it would be no different to me.
God fucking Dammit. Just grow up and don't take the bait!
