Emu Station 3D

I've discovered a very interesting program which displays the covers of games and launches thier respective emulators to play them. It is very similar to iTunes' cover flow. It also displays 3d models of various game consoles and offers system information, such as manufacturer, system release date, units sold, and much more.

Here's a video demonstrating some features.

You can find the link to download the program in the video's description.

While I do very much like this program, here are some improvements i think could be made:
1. Allow sorting of games by various criteria, such as alphabetically, most played, least played, or favorite.

2. Allow deletion and sorting of consoles.

Are there similar programs like this? What do you think could be added to this program to make it better?

This is a really interesting program. I might need to look at it once I get home from work, it would be much better than digging through my archives to find the emu I want and then search through my library of roms :)

As to what could be better? The suggestions you made would certainly help. Being able to rate your games would be a nice addition too, although the visuals would help me out alot so I know what I want to pick.

I can't think of much otherwise, unless there was a way to port this onto the PSP or something ;)

Does it let us choose what emulators are used?

What the program does is simply open the file. You can set the emulator associated with the rom from within the program (by pressing the up key), but this usually doesn't work. What I do (which works perfectly) is right click the game file and select "open with." Then, I select my emulator. This way, when I or Emustation 3D opens the game file, it will load the emulator and begin playing the game.

There are also more features the video didn't mention. It supports 360 and PS3 controllers and it has an in-program browser for game box art.

Another thing I thought to make this better would be custom (or any) background music, with the option to turn it off.

Also, I feel I should mention that this was made in Gamemaker.
