I recently received a screw u ur denied letter from a college I applied to. What pisses me off is that I paid them 2 weeks before receiving the letter which means we took ur money and threw ur app out in summary
However I wrote them a email I'm gonna c/p it but read it and tell me ur thoughts. I'm honestly sick of colleges seeing students as dollar signs.
Hello,
I have received a response letter to my application a few days ago and I have been meaning to email the Temple Admissions about my thoughts and concerns.Â
Now to begin with my concerns I am completely respecting and understanding of a denial letter however it is the matter of when I received it and how I received it. In my application there was a matter of payment issues because the application locked out on me by accident. I failed to pay on time as well but the payment was received no less in January-Febuary. I was told a response would come to me of denial or acceptance come April as would all applications would apparently start being denied or accepted. However I received my denial within a few weeks after paying the application fee. I have more concerns than that though and I will conclude with my thoughts. In the letter it stated I needed a GPA of 3.0 and more and that is what frustrates me further. It's frustrating because I am well aware my GPA is inbetween 3.2-3.6. If my application was evaluated carefully then I would have been more comfortable with this letter of denial.
Now I am not emailing to request reevaluation but to give my thoughts and concerns. To give my overall thought I believe because my application was completed and failed a application fee within close time to when it was completed it didnt pass an evaluation properly. Also if it was evaluated it was heartlessly skimmed and passed. I have known Temple to be a good establishment and I know many people who have passed with average GPAs. Which is precisely why I applied because I am average without a doubt. Colleges have lost sight of this unfortunately now and only see students as dollar bills.
So now if Temple had given me this denial letter within the period they told me I would receive a response I would not have lost respect for Temple and it's educational system. I am an honest person who knows where money comes from and how it's earned so hopefully I will have better responses from other educational establishments other than Temple.
I hope you did not disregard this or skim this like you have many applications. Thanks for teaching me a valuable lesson even when I am not approved in your eyes. As I said I do not seek a reevaluation.
I am merely evaluating Temple University for the treatment they have shown me.
