Educational Establishment in shame

I recently received a screw u ur denied letter from a college I applied to. What pisses me off is that I paid them 2 weeks before receiving the letter which means we took ur money and threw ur app out in summary

However I wrote them a email I'm gonna c/p it but read it and tell me ur thoughts. I'm honestly sick of colleges seeing students as dollar signs.

Hello,

I have received a response letter to my application a few days ago and I have been meaning to email the Temple Admissions about my thoughts and concerns.

Now to begin with my concerns I am completely respecting and understanding of a denial letter however it is the matter of when I received it and how I received it. In my application there was a matter of payment issues because the application locked out on me by accident. I failed to pay on time as well but the payment was received no less in January-Febuary. I was told a response would come to me of denial or acceptance come April as would all applications would apparently start being denied or accepted. However I received my denial within a few weeks after paying the application fee. I have more concerns than that though and I will conclude with my thoughts. In the letter it stated I needed a GPA of 3.0 and more and that is what frustrates me further. It's frustrating because I am well aware my GPA is inbetween 3.2-3.6. If my application was evaluated carefully then I would have been more comfortable with this letter of denial.

Now I am not emailing to request reevaluation but to give my thoughts and concerns. To give my overall thought I believe because my application was completed and failed a application fee within close time to when it was completed it didnt pass an evaluation properly. Also if it was evaluated it was heartlessly skimmed and passed. I have known Temple to be a good establishment and I know many people who have passed with average GPAs. Which is precisely why I applied because I am average without a doubt. Colleges have lost sight of this unfortunately now and only see students as dollar bills.

So now if Temple had given me this denial letter within the period they told me I would receive a response I would not have lost respect for Temple and it's educational system. I am an honest person who knows where money comes from and how it's earned so hopefully I will have better responses from other educational establishments other than Temple.

I hope you did not disregard this or skim this like you have many applications. Thanks for teaching me a valuable lesson even when I am not approved in your eyes. As I said I do not seek a reevaluation.

I am merely evaluating Temple University for the treatment they have shown me.

...paid them for what? AFAIK colleges can't charge you anything until you receive a acceptance letter.

As for your email, try and use better grammar to show you're a 3.2-3.6 GPA student. It'll look more professional and will probably get a better response.

If you read it I stated application fee. I paid the app fee 3 months after completing the app because I couldn't get my hands on the money during that time

I read it, I guess I just misunderstood. You made it sound like you paid for a semester or for classes and they just took your money and threw your app out.

Most colleges are rather selective, it's not just about money. If you didn't get in, it's probably because they didn't feel you would fit in with other students. You should have a backup plan anyways, multiple ones at that.

I do have a back up.

I appreciate your thoughts but I know what I wrote. They delibritely sent me a denial response as soon as I paid them. Colleges around here see people as dollar signs they clearly saw I had difficulties which I tries to explain multiple times but in the end they screwed me out of 50 bucks. I'm not annoyed cuz of the money it's because of how they treated me.

Also I know what I'm doing I have a back up plan. I just wanted this college to know what I thought. It's better than staying quiet.

go to another college and stop setting your sites on just one establishment.
There are plenty of ways to get the experience/ education you need. If you need to go to another country to do it do so.
i received over 6 denial letters (two of which changed their minds when I re-applied later).
This is just a small stepping stone. I am sure you will find the way to where you need to go.

I know temple was my back up though. I'm riding on Rowan though. Just hated the treatment temple gave me so I sent them that email. I'm not complaining just wanted to give them a piece of my mind. Everything is about money now and it's frustrating.
