Cracked and ordered a White 3DS from Japan this morning.

I have been wanting one for a while now. But I have been putting off learning the japanese language. Looks like this is my incentive to get moving. And quick. It will be here in a little over a month, with Terry's Wonderland.

Other than that, not much else to report. Archery leagues are over for the year. Ill have some more free time as the spring gets nicer. Maybe i can study Japanese outside.

I wanna learn Japanese too, seems like a pretty cool language though I've noticed a lot of words they use can mean multiple things so it gets a little confusing sometimes lol

Hope wherever you are spring is actually spring...snowed here yesterday and its freezing rain and icy roads everywhere in Ontario lol

How much did it cost you?

And on the Japanese thing I highly recommend using this memorization site http://www.glosboken.se/ The site's in Swedish but it's easily changed to English in the bottom right corner.
It works the same way as Anki as it's designed to cleverly repeat things based on human memorization studies. This one however I found to be a lot more user friendly and accessible as you can use it online from any computer, everything is saved to your account and you can even link word lists with friends on there.

Just create a new course, start a new chapter and fill it with words.
First type the word in English, press tab, then type it in Japanese or in Romaji (Japanese with western characters) and finally enter to immediately start typing in the new word, everything is managed by the keyboard. When you're done start the test, depending on how you do the program scores you and makes you repeat the ones you missed in a separate test if you want. Never seen a faster and sleeker way to do this, I have all the words used in the first 15 chapters of Minna no Nihongo on there. :yay:

If you're learning Kanji you can make flashcards for those too if you have Japanese enabled on your computer. (or you could just copy characters online)
The site's free and while there is paid stuff like voice tracks on there I didn't found those to be useful at all.

Play around with it and tell me what you think, I can share a few lists if you want.
