So I finally gave in and watched MLP. AND IT WAS AWESOME. Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, and Rainbow Dash are badasses, Pinkie Pie is friggin' NUTS, and Fluttershy is ADORABLE(and this is coming from a 6'3" 210 pound guy. CUDDLES ALL AROUND!)

This requires one simple question: WHY?

The show is surprisingly good even if it seems to be a little girls cartoon. If you liked Powerpuff Girls, you must try watching this, even if it sounds way too girly.
I kinda hate the "brony" fanbase a little though.

One of my friends went hardcore brony, and he made me watch a few episodes. I thought they were very "meh" and WAY to over hyped. I can't understand what's so good about the show.


It just seems like a world-wide troll campaign, and people started liking it because they thought other people did.

I don't see why MLP is treated so differently from everything else. People like it because it's a good show and they enjoy watching it. Others don't like it because they find it boring or just happen to not like it. It doesn't have to be THE GREATEST THING EVAR or complete utter garbage.

I'll compare it to gaming. I love RPGs and action games, but I've never been a huge fan of racing games or the RTS genre.. However, I recognize that some people like racing games and don't like RPGs. It doesn't bother me, I like what I like and others can do the same thing.

I will say this, though: if you solely let your gender/race/anything else define what you should enjoy, then you're just an idiot and are probably missing out on tons of awesome stuff.
