Week 25 in the army

MrFatso, I'm glad to see you are doing awesome inside the Army. Yeah the military are redundant that way, imagine my pain when I have to move medical supples by taking them out from the exam drawers only to put them BACK IN after moving the supplies to the other building.

Last day of my leave, spend it building gundam model, reading spiderman issue 10 to 20 and just playing games

Today, there was some event out, so as usual, we had to bring the photostand to IGTS (some simulation center) and set it up pretty nicely. At least at the end of the day, we could just eat the leftover food and it's not bad We have curry puff, swiss roll, the usual stuff.

Finally, the guy in charge of the fax machine is back from his leave so, i had to give him a call to request for him to arrive. Still, an hour or 2 arrived and some old fk just walked in and just shouted:"Who's in charge of the fax machine". So, i just went over and told him the problem.

Long story short... seriously??? We have to called some guy who just ask me to off and power on the fax machine and stare at the machine self-diagonistic test before calling a number?
Seriously??? Cant we just do that on our own?? But then, it's the army, they are really particular about stuff like this even though, it is completely redundant. Hell, that old man was the only guy allowed to touch the fax machine, why dont they have a stand-in, so if one person is on leave, another could take over... Fk pointless policies ....

--Friday--

Christmas eve aka half day for us
Pretty much, everyone's in a holiday spirit, so we had fruit cakes, we just slack around and that's it, once 11am arrived, all of us just fk off from camp.


--Saturday--
My friend just bought over his world of warcraft game and he asked me to help him play, so that's what i am planning to do, as soon as i enjoy creating a character of my own

Bring my parents for a meal I just hope i have enough money.. Anyway, tomorrow i will be going back to sembawang camp and this will return to being a weekly thing... yet to be honest, that's what i have been doing all along, haven i?[/quote]

@EvangelionEX: oo, u what pes? good luck to u, go army dont need to bring alot of stuff, cos when u go tekong, they will give you your field pack and a duffel bag, instead already have most of the stuff, i guess the things that u could bring would be toilet paper, a towel and shampoo and maybe a toothbush set and your wallet of cos Alof of the stuff are already supplied so u can travel lite

ya, all those talks about efficiency, when it's pretty obvious for even us guys to see that some of those so-called procedures are pointless.


Also, 2 more days till i have been in the army for 6 months which means 1 and 1/2 year left to go, woot

hmm, i have no idea how to read japanese, but 2 of them were from the mecha version of the three kingdom while the latest that i did was "00 Gundam+0 Raiser"
