Cat girls are fictional, find a girl to put a costume on for you. Really fantasy mix with reality means distant social life. Guess how many people believe that Star Wars/Harry Potter exists? Anime falls into that category, its sad when reality sets in and destroys your fantasies like a crumble piece of paper you throw into a trash bin.

Erm, in every blog I have read by him, he sounds quite a bit more smart than you make him out to be. >.> From what I gathered, he isn't stupid, and can make up convincing stories. Jeez, don't take wishful thinking so seriously.

Well EXCUSE me for putting my own two-cents in! Sure I have to admit back when I was 15 I believed in anime as much as the next person. When I look at it, reality isn't the same like anime. Anime is just a colorful version of certain situations coming to light. Also, Sterl I feel your insults towards me to be a bit childish.

I don't think I've met anybody older than 9 who believed anime stuff was actually real.

Except that one time during the summer I convinced my little brother DBZ stuff was real and made up training things for him to do. He still holds a grudge against me for it...

I never had a problem with differentiating cartoons from reality, but that's just me.

You're excused, and I see no insults just a respectful rebuttal. Also like Rydian said, I myself haven't seen anyone who actually believed in anime over a "young age". They only think wishfully, which shouldn't be confused with belief.
